IMPORTANT CHANGES IN MIGRATION COMPLIANCE
Hereby we would pay your attention that in connection with the FIFA 2017 Confederation Cup in Russia, within the period from 1st of June 2017 to 12th of July 2017 migration registration of all foreign citizens arriving to Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kazan and Sochi should be done within 24 hours after crossing the border of the Russian Federation. Such requirement is applied to all foreign citizens including the Highly Qualified Specialists.
Herewith Russian citizens travelling to abovementioned cities of Russia should be registered within 3 calendar days.
Please be noted that migration registration should be done at Directorate for Migration Affairs at territorial departments of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Notifications by post or via Multifocal Center are not provided.
Fines for the host party for failure to meet the requirements of migration compliance:
- Company officials (CEO, Head of the Branch or Representation): RUB 40 000 – RUB 50 000 (appr. EUR 600-EUR 790)
- Legal (reporting) entities: RUB 400 000 – RUB 500 000 (appr. EUR 6 300-EUR 7 900)
